Overview
This scheme aims to support Gozo‑based businesses operating in niche markets by helping them promote their products or services and participate in international fairs or events. Eligible applicants may receive a refund of up to 75% of approved expenses, capped at:
- €3,000 for marketing initiatives or participation in international events, or
- €4,500 if applying for both activities.
Eligible Applicants
Applicants that operate within the below industries are eligible;
- Crafts & Artisanal Products
- Sports & Adventure Tourism including diving
- Gozo as a Wedding destination
- Local Delicacies and Gastronomy
- Gozo as a Health and Well-Being destination
- MICE activities in Gozo (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events)
- Religious Tourism
Accommodation operators are not eligible for this application.
Eligible Expenditure
The scheme covers:
- Marketing initiatives promoting Gozo as a destination through the applicant’s business;
- Participation in international fairs or events (for up to one representative)
Applicants may apply for either activity or both.
All expenditure must be incurred by 31 December 2026.
Application Process
Applicants must complete an online application outlining their proposed project along with additional documents including a copy of their MTA licence and their De Minimis status. Application must be submitted by the 30th of September 2026.
